Assessing Highrise Building Construction in Semarang Using Green Construction Site Index (GCSI)

As the demand for housing increases, building construction ignore adverse implication exposed to environment. The objective of study was analyze performance ongoing projects implementing green concept. tool applied Green Construction Site Index (GCSI) assess five categorizing into three groups or specifications (uncommercialized, non-residential building; commercial, residential and building). index efficiency, productivity, awareness upon types buildings 4.06, 4.49, 4.31 respectively. Meanwhile, overall obtained by project type I, II, III 4.07, 4.33, 4.35 might be considered an opportunity contractors; although, further investigation on its application in other is needed.
